Chabahar City
Chabahar, a southernmost city in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran is a fine port on the coast of the Oman Gulf. Situated on the Makran Coast of the Sistan and Baluchestan province, it is officially designated as a Free Trade and Industrial Zone by Iran’s government.
Due to its free trade zone status, the city has gained more significance in international trade. The overwhelming majority of the city’s inhabitants are ethnic Baluch speaking the Baluchi language. Chabahar is a perfect destination for those who set out to the ocean and is as beautiful as the spring.
Having a tropical and mild climate, the city attracts a large number of tourists due to being the warmest place in the country in the cold season of the year. The city makes travelers even more relaxed when the monsoon winds are blowing from the Indian Ocean in the summer making it the coolest southern port of the country.
Here one can enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset on the rock coast, go fishing in the pleasant pier and go sightseeing to the Damb mountain historical area belonged to the Parthian period and the Portuguese Castle.
